The project entitled Laser Screen Printing is an innovative development in the traditional screenprinting technique. Instead of using film, a stencil, and exposing the screen with diffused light, it uses cutting-edge technology. The exposure of the screens is produced by the ray of a carefully directed UV laser projector; a directly projected laser graphic thus hardens the emulsion on the screen. The instrument was developed according to the artist’s concept by the pebe/lab studio.
All the prints have been created in strictly limited series, most of them in editions numbering between two and four, on high-quality paper measuring 101 x 72cm. They have several color layers, including phosphorous paint that slowly radiates back the light it has absorbed.

Projekt s pracovním názvem „laser screen printing“ dále rozvíjí tradiční techniku sítotisku. Na místo osvitu síta pomocí rozptýleneho světla a filmu či šablony, používá inovativní technologii. Osvit sítotiskových sít vykonává paprsek cíleně směřovaného UV laser projektoru, emulzi na sítu tak vytvrzuje přímo promítaná laser grafika. Nástroj byl vyvinut dle konceptu autora ve studiu pebe/lab jehož je členem.
Všechny tisky jsou tištěny ve velmi limitované sérii, většinou o pouhých 2 a 4 ks na kvalitní papír o rozměrech 101×72 cm, několika vrstvami barev včetně světlo pomalu zpět vyzařující fosforové. V případě dalšího zájmu o tuto novou techniku tisku či díla samotná kontaktujte autora.
