Resonance, 2019

Blowen glass decorated with a unique technique. The patterns are created by the resonance of glass powders using a custom-built device. Each sound frequency generates a distinct Chladni figure, which becomes part of the production process in the glassworks. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind original.
Some pieces have been crafted from uranium glass, which is safe for use but reacts under UV light. These vases were created in 2019; the author has not used this technique again yet.

Resonance is glass vases decorated using my technique, namely with patterns fashioned after those of Chladni, created using a tool of my development.

Sound waves vibrate the solid surface with glass powder and create structures. Each 33 or 52-cm high piece has a unique color combination. Selected pieces are made of uranium glass.
